| The Highland Lakes Board of Directors is composed of three
components. There are the officers, who also serve as board members, with the
responsibility of directing the day-to-day activities of the local affiliate. In addition
to the officers there are ten board members who also serve as chairperson heading up the
committees of the affiliate. These committees
are the heart and soul of the board. There are also several board members who take on
special projects for the committees. Then there are several individuals in, non-board,
administrative positions who assist the officers of the board on special project.
